Dan Gnedo

Journalist | Media Producer | CEO

I am Dan Arnold Gnédo, a journalist and editor for Ceux Qui Font l'Afrique Magazine, as well as an audiovisual producer and CEO of both Xtra Creative US and Amérique Francophone TV. I am married, a father, and a committed Christian. I hold a Master's degree in Journalism with a specialization in Broadcasting and Television from ISTC-Polytechnique in Abidjan, and an additional Master's degree in Journalism and Communication Sciences. My career in communications began at the Communications and Marketing Department of Côte d'Ivoire Tourisme (formerly the National Tourism Office), followed by a role in the Communications Department at the Ministry of Sanitation in Côte d'Ivoire. However, the bureaucratic nature of these roles led me to return to my first passion: media communications.
I began my media career at RTI (Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne) as a Video Journalist and News Reporter for the television news department.
Driven by the desire to further my education and pursue entrepreneurial ambitions, I immigrated to the United States. Alongside my studies in arts and cinematography, I was accepted into the SURE Program at the University of Houston’s Business School, where I earned certifications in business and entrepreneurship through the university and the City of Houston. I later joined Ceux Qui Font l'Afrique, a Pan-African magazine, as a journalist and presenter. I was eventually promoted to Exclusive U.S. Representative, and in 2020, I launched Amérique Francophone TV, a web-based television network. Determined not to sideline my business
acumen and certifications, I founded Mister FX in 2018, a sole proprietorship focused on audiovisual
communication. In 2022, this venture evolved into Xtra Group USA LLC, with its African
counterpart Xtra Group Africa. The company now collaborates with numerous prominent individuals and institutions.
In addition to being an expert in brand image management and content creation, I have a strong passion for the arts, particularly music. I aim to contribute to the promotion of Ivorian culture through festive events and the creation of dynamic, engaging media productions.
Ultimately, I bring a creative and communicative spirit to every endeavor I undertake.
