Based in Katy, Texas, Doriane Ahounou is a driven and accomplished professional with a strong background in accounting and logistics operations. She holds an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from the Borough of Manhattan Community College in New York, where she graduated with a GPA of 3.5. She also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Pigier Côte d’Ivoire, a diploma recognized by World Education Services (WES).
Doriane is the proud founder and owner of Foundy, a thriving business based in Houston, Texas that has been promoting and selling 100% Ivorian foods for the past two years. Through Foundy, she is passionate about sharing the rich culinary heritage of Côte d’Ivoire with the local community while empowering African food producers and creating economic opportunities.
Professionally, Doriane has cultivated extensive experience in logistics, training, and accounting through various roles at Amazon. From serving as a Learning Trainer and HazWaste Coordinator to her current role as a Non-Inventory Receiver, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership, organizational, and analytical skills across Amazon fulfillment centers in Texas. Her previous accounting roles include working at Soumbais as a Company Accountant and interning with Allan S. Joseph CPA (ASJCPA) in New York, where she gained valuable experience in journal entries, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Doriane’s work ethic and leadership have been recognized with several honors, including placement on the Dean’s List multiple semesters and active membership in the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) since 2018. She is bilingual, fluent in both English and French, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
